Krasnodar, 13 August – Yug Times. The improvement of important roads reportedly continues in Maikop.
This time a large-scale repair was started on the section from the intersection of Stepnaya and Pavlov streets to the Maikop Bypass motorway. The length of the section is 912 metres. The works carried out with financial support from the Republican Road Fund include the closure of the existing storm drains and widening of the carriageway from two to four lanes. The updated roadway will be 14 metres wide. "The total of 160 million roubles were allocated from the Republican Road Fund for 2024-2025. The contractor that won the bidding is a very reliable company that has been working in Adyghea for a long time. They have enough equipment, and in the shortest possible time, of course, we will complete the works," said Maikop Mayor Gennadi Mitrofanov.
Within the framework of the repair works, it is necessary to relocate high-voltage lines and the gas pipeline. The project also includes construction of pavements both sides of the road and installation of traffic lights.
