Krasnodar, 11 August – Yug Times. The sales of less than 3 years old used cars in the Kuban region reportedly increased in April–June. Compared to the same period last year, the increase was 25.3%. According to Avito Avto, the average price of such vehicles was 2.3 million roubles.
“For many buyers, three-year-old cars are becoming an alternative to new cars from a dealer’s, due not only to the lower price compared to a new car, but also to a number of other factors. Say, often three-year-old cars have low mileage, and, as a rule, they are equipped with modern technical features. In addition, such cars still have the manufacturer’s warranty,” explained Kirill Votyakov, Managing Director of Avito Auto. He added that now the market is quite saturated with cars aged up to three years, including due to the imports from abroad.
At the same time, LADA Granta was the best-selling model of used cars under 3 years sold in the second quarter of 2023 in the Krasnodar region. It accounted for 6.3% of the sales in the three-year cars segment, with an average price of RUB 810,000.
