Krasnodar, 3 May. Since the beginning of this year, the demand for product delivery to marketplaces has reportedly increased severalfold.
In January – April 2023, the demand for all types of commercial deliveries in Krasnodar grew by 70%, compared with the same period of 2022, Avito Services announced. In the same period, the number of announcement placed by private conveyors and transport operators increased by 41%.
In Russia, the highest growth patterns were shown by fulfilment services (a complex of services where all delivery logistics is handed over to a contractor) and delivery to marketplaces – by four times (+326%).
“The entrepreneurs that work with marketplaces need integrated service of transport operators to ensure the entire logistics: from delivery abroad to delivery to a marketplace warehouse and to order picking,” explained Yevgenia Lazareva, Avito Services’ Transport Services Category Manager. “Similarly, the number of offers from fulfilment operators and transport operators to marketplace warehouses is also increasing severalfold.”
