Krasnodar, 16 February. Over 3,800 blocks of flats have reportedly been repaired in the Kuban region over the past five years.
Such are the interim results of the implementation of the capital repairs programme in the region.
“Over the past five years, more than 3,800 multifamily blocks have been renovated – with the lifts and engineering systems replaced, and roofs, façades and cellars repaired. For these works, over 12 billion roubles have been spent from the Capital Repairs Fund. Flat owners can decide what works should be done first, and they have become more active participants of the process. To date, 112 blocks from this year’s plan have already been repaired in the region; active works are being carried out at 149 facilities,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev explained.
In total, the plan for 2023 includes 1,028 blocks of flats, and 1,750 kinds of work.
Last year, 673 multifamily blocks were repaired in the Krasnodar region. Thereby, more than 70,000 residents improved their housing conditions.
According to the regional press service, the works performed in 2022 included repairs of 439 roofs and over 120 façades, overhauls of 514 plumbing systems, and replacement of 159 lifts.
