Krasnodar, 2 February. Since the beginning of the year, 35 unauthorised outdoor advertising structures have been removed in Sochi.
Currently, constant monitoring is being done in all city districts to reveal unwarranted facilities.
“We have organised supervision of illegitimately placed advertising structures. In accordance with the earlier issued notices and based on the results of our outreaches with the owners, 35 unauthorised structures have been pulled down since the beginning of the year,” reported Dmitri Litvinets, Director of the City Department for Architecture and Urban Planning.
The municipal contract on demolition of illegitimate outdoor advertising will be concluded in February. The dismantled facilities will be kept in safe custody for up to three months, within which their owner will have to compensate the Mayor’s Office for all demolition expenses. Otherwise, the structure will be finally disposed of.
