Krasnodar, 14 September. Krasnodar krai will intensify cooperation with Uzbekistan.
In 2021, the foreign economic turnover between the Kuban region and Uzbekistan exceeded USD 100 million, including USD 55 million of exports.
Commenting on this, Vasili Vorobyov, Director of the regional Department for Investments and Development of Small and Midsize Entrepreneurship, noted the significance of expansion of the trade and economic relations, and strengthening of business links.
“Krasnodar krai intends to further develop its partnership with Uzbekistan. I am confident that jointly we will continue to strengthen our multifactorial bilateral relations,” Mr. Vorobyov added.
A visit of the delegation from Uzbekistan’s Andizhan region to Krasnodar is planned in the near future. The Uzbekistani colleagues will take part in the opening of the Trade House and arrangement of a trading platform for Kuban products in this Central Asian country.
