Krasnodar, 16 June. 6+ The all-Russia Children’s Centre “Orlionok” (The Eaglet) is hosting the Oceanautics, a special scientific and technical program.
One hundred winners of the national competitive selection came to Orlionok from 38 Russian regions. The Oceanautics is a thematic simmer session aimed to give the children practical training in marine studies. The kids will practise scuba diving, learn the airborne manned and unmanned system principles and technologies, acquire sea rescue skills, perform restoration of artefacts and get involved in underwater robotics technology.
“The Marine Researches Centre of the Russian Geographic Society has been working at Orlionok for five years, and it always creates a bright sea travel for the kids coming from all corners of our country who are interested to explore the sea depths. It is important that the kids will have a possibility to take part in activities, projects and scientific marine expeditions,” Aleksandr Dzheus, Director of the all-Russian Children’s Centre “Orlionok” noted.
