Krasnodar, 14 April. According to the resolution signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Krasnodar Krai will receive over one billion roubles to support its public health system.
“It will be a good support for the regions which will let us cover our expenses. The money will be spent to buy medicines and medical equipment in the framework of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, and for remunerations to medical staff,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said.
He added that on its side, the region will allocate 63.9 billion roubles for the development of the public health sphere in 2022. The money will be spent for capital repairs of medical institutions, construction of design of rural health posts, outpatient clinics and primary care physicians’ offices, purchases of medicines, and retooling of medical institutions.
In total, the federal government will spend over 35 billion roubles to cover the expenses related to free medical aid. The money will be allocated from the insurance stock of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund to its 74 regional branches.
