Krasnodar, 17 November. All anti-COVID constraints have reportedly been prolonged in Krasnodar krai.
According to the resolution signed by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, all requirements that were introduced for the nonworking days in early November, will remain valid until November 21.
In addition to that, the list of citizens subject to mandatory vaccination was expanded with persons aged 60+, dwellers of welfare institutions, and persons suffering from chronic diseases – altogether 709,000 persons. Of them, around 677,000 have already received a shot of COVID-19 vaccine. As before, public health, education, catering and service workers remain the most active vaccinees. Say, 74,600 medical workers have been jabbed, though the plan was just 64,500. At the same time, public and municipal executives are lagging behind – only 90% of the planned number have received the vaccine. The progress at colleges and universities where all students above 18 years of age must be vaccinated, is not as good: only 41% of them have got the vaccine so far.
Despite the unprecedented vaccination effort, daily sickness rates soared up last week from 315 to 589 cases.
