Krasnodar, 29 December. A 250-bed observation facility has reportedly been opened in Sochi. It is meant to ensure epidemiological safety of visitors and local people during the winter holidays. Most of the tourists arriving at Krasnodar krai are heading for Sochi. In order to prevent the appearance of hotbeds of the disease, the work of the observation facility resumed in the city. Another, backup facility will open soon in Krasnodar.
Special stand-by crews consisting of medical workers and officers of the Federal Consumers Rights Supervision Agency are checking the arriving passengers at the railway stations and airports of Krasnodar and Sochi. If symptoms of coronavirus infection would be detected, first of all, heightened temperature, the affected person would be sent to the observation facility.
“Then a tourist will have a coronavirus test taken, whose result will be ready in one to three days. If the disease would be proved, the person would be sent to hospital. If not, he or she would be let off.
