Decision Is Up to President

Krasnodar, 13 October. Last week, Krasnodar hosted the Council of Atamans of the Kuban Cossack Host chaired by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev. 

At the session, Vice Governor Aleksandr Vlasov was advanced for the office of the Host Ataman. 

Mr. Kondratiev backed his nomination. Speaking at the session of the Council, he said that contemporary youth should come to the Cossack Host to persistently build up the economy, and influence the public and political life. The Host should be headed by someone who is able to unite enterprising and concerned persons. 

“I consider Aleksandr Vlasov to be such man. He is an active and result-oriented worker,” Mr. Kondratiev noted. 

Aleksandr Vlasov thanked for the credibility given to him by nominating him to the post of the Ataman of the Kuban Cossack Host. 

“Our main goal is to retain the Host’s development speed, make it mightier, and participate in the resolution of public security issues,” he said. 

The final decision on the nomination of the Ataman of the Kuban Cossack Host will be taken by the President of Russia.
