By next July, the reconstruction of the perinatal centre of Maikop City Hospital will reportedly be completed.
Last week, Head of Adyghea Murat Kumpilov inspected the reconstruction site. According to the plan, the maternity hospital will get a new modern designing, with the fourth floor added to the house, all furniture and sanitary ware renewed, and new medical equipment built.
The building will also get a new admissions unit that will enable to divide the incoming and dismissed patients. The cost of construction (about 215 million roubles) is covered by the federal and regional budgets.
As a result, the maternity unit will expand by more than 930 sq m. Mr. Kumpilov noted that the construction of such projects is the basis to improve the national demographic situation in the framework of national projects.
