Krasnodar, 11 March. Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev visited Timashevsk rayon with a working visit.
One of the main topics of his meeting with the activists of the municipality was development of the road network. Some time ago, local dwellers had asked Mr. Kondratiev to assist in constructing a detour road around the city of Timashevsk. The new road is to resolve the problem with traffic jams near the railroad crossing, and to reduce the traffic load in the city that appeared after the opening of the Crimean Bridge.
“Locals have for a long while been waiting for a detour road of Timashevsk. The construction is to begin next autumn. My deputy and the municipal head are keeping this issue under control,” Mr. Kondratiev stressed. Over the past fifteen years, this would be the biggest road construction work in the municipality. The length of the detour will be 14.67 km. About 14.3 billion roubles will be allocated from the regional budget to cover the construction works. The biddings will be held in May. The construction project is to be completed by the end of 2023.
Apart from that, the regional budget will continue allocating money for the development of the municipality. In 2019, the rayon received 1.5 billion roubles spent for the fulfilment of thirteen governmental programs.
