Krasnodar, 5 November – Yug Times. The construction of the first in southern Russia industrial park for small and midsize businesses has reportedly begun in Kropotkin.
The new industrial zone will be built in the framework of the national project “Small and midsize entrepreneurship and support of individual business initiatives.” Krasnodar province will get 500 million roubles from the federal budget to build the engineering infrastructure of the project. The bulk of the work is to be completed within two or three years.
The area of the future industrial park is 13.3 hectares. It will accommodate a bottling facility for drinking water, juice drinks and lemonades; a paper mill; and a soft drinks plant. The agreement on the construction of the industrial park was signed at the 2019 Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. It will open over 600 new jobs, of which at least 300 will be high-performance jobs.
The cost of the residents’ yearly industrial output will exceed 8.5 billion roubles; their tax payments will exceed 600 million roubles a year.
The park has already received its official name – Treasure.
