Krasnodar, 11 September – Yug Times. It has been built at the “Trans-Alpha” factory, in Vologda, based on technical specifics, received from the Mayor’s office of the Kuban capital. On Sunday morning, the new trolleybus has been received at the№ 1 depot.
- The Vologda factory had begun rapidly to comply with their contractual obligations. In less than three months after signing, the first trolleybus has already reached our city. Now there will be run trials, and preparation to work on its route. In general, the task we have for the next few years, is to keep following the roadmap for the renovation of public transport, to develop it and make it more comfortable and convenient for the passengers. Indeed, this work had had a serious start:before the year ends, 47 new vehicles will be working on the city’s roads - 35 tramways and 12 trolleybuses, — said Krasnoddar’s mayor Evgenyi Pervyshov.
In total, the city will purchase 12 of such means of transport. They will be arriving in Krasnodar until November the 11th. All of the new trolleybuses will be employed in lines which pass through Krasnaya street. They will be housed at the № 1 depot In Dzerzhinskogo st.
The contract for the delivery of the trolleybuses has been signed by the city’s administration and transport company MUP “Krasnodar Tramway and Trolleybus Board” this August.
