Krasnodar, 9 August – Yug Times. By the end of the year, a new green zone with many amenities will reportedly appear in the stanitsa (Cossack village) of Marianskaya, Krasnoarmeisky rayon.
Some time ago, a villager came to a personal reception of Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and asked him to help improve the recreation area located in Severny residential neighbouhood of the village. Governor took the issue under his personal contro.
“The appearance of the park will be the residents’ merit,” Mr. Kondratiev stressed. “People were active, and the authority heeded them.”
The area was cleared of weeds and wild plants and prepared for further work. Over 18 million roubles were assigned for amelioration. New trees and bushes will be planted, playgrounds and sport facilities will be installed, and recreation zones will be organised at the 0.5-hectare area. The works are to be completed in November.
Altogether, this year Krasnoarmeisky rayon has received 1.35 billion roubles for the implementation of various governmental programs.
