Krasnodar, 31 January – Yug Times. The number of false coiners in Russia is said to be constantly declining - however, the citizens should not relax and stop checking the suspicious banknotes.

Valeri Dubovoi, Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Security of the regional police:
“Over the last year, we recalled from circulation false banknotes to the total amount exceeding five million roubles. As a rule, the coiners are dealing with 5,000, 2,000 and 1,000-rouble banknotes.”
