Krasnodar, 19 September – Yug Times. Last week, Krasnodar hosted the presentation of the first collection of poetry written by the Adyghe author Inver Sheudzhen. In the past, he worked as a construction company director, and he could not even imagine that he would be writing poetry. But one day everything changed. Now he writes his poems in his Smartphone, gets inspired by everyday and routine things, and never betrays his principles.
His first listeners were people from social networks whom they did not know, but who estimated his poems at their true worth. Inver’s creative development was unique: he wrote his first poems at the age of 40.
“I don’t regret that I began to write poetry rather late,” he says. “All happened as it should. I am glad that all occurred now, when I have acquired the experience that I can share with my readers.”
Owing to the social networks, Inver Sheudzhen now has admirers all over the country – from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. It is their attention and recognition that he considers the best reward for his creative work. Professional critics have also paid due tribute to Inver’s gift. For more than once, he has become winner of literary contests and laureate of international festivals.
