Krasnodar, 18 July – Yug Times. Over 3,500 teenagers together with employees and guests of the All-Russia Children’s Centre Orlionok (Eaglet) took part in the celebration of the 58th anniversary of the holiday camp.
Over its history, the camp has received more than 1.5 million children. It was founded as a teachers and school activists’ school, and it continues to play this role. However, the main thing is that here every child can open themselves, their endless talents and confidence that they can change the surrounding world with their creative work.
The festive morning began with a solemn camp line at Stars square. The participants were welcomed by the director Aleksandr Dzheus. He presented the kids and his colleagues with gifts to mark the occasion. The line proceeded with a meeting of the ‘eaglets’ of all generations, gathered by the Memorial Stone.
