Krasnodar, 20 March – Yug Times. In the nearest years, the regional authorities plan to invest millions of roubles in the construction of safe and high-quality automobile roads.
Last week Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev together with executives of Avtodor Company held a conference devoted to the development of the region’s road infrastructure. The participants of the gathering discussed the list of the roads to be reconstructed in the near future. Say, although the repair of a road section in Nizhnebakansky, Krymsk rayon, is to be completed in August 2018, the workers have promised to ensure unobstructed vehicle traffic by June, because the upper layer of the road surface will be replaced only at night.
Two traffic interchanges have been planned near Gelendzhik: one from Divnomorskoe, and the other from the airport.
Another important thoroughfare will be the remote Western detour of Krasnodar. This will be a 50-km long highway with the permitted speed limit of 120 km/h. The construction of the detour has been scheduled for 2019.
