Krasnodar, 10 January – Yug Times. The Krasnodar City authorities have announced the public territories to be modernized and resurfaced in 2018.
The candidates for upgrading had been chosen by online voting. Every district had presented three candidates — gardens, boulevards, parks, and alleys.
The eventual nominees for the beautification works were: in the Western District — the alley named in honour of the 80th anniversary of the Krasnodar region, stretched in Yubileiny residential neighbourhood along the Kuban River; in the Karasunsky District — the Border Guards’ Park at the intersection of Ignatov and Machuga Streets; in the Prikubansky District — the Festivalny Park at the intersection of Turgenev and Atarbekov Streets; in the Central District — the Sadovy Park.
The above public territories got most of the votes and got a priority score for the new urban development plan compiled within the framework of the federal program.
