Krasnodar, 27 October – Yug Times. Magnit Group of Companies has opened the first industrial park in Dorozhny, a suburb of Krasnodar. Its first production facility is a champignon producing factory that occupies an area of over 50 hectares. The factory plans to produce nearly 6,500 tons of mushrooms a year.
Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev visited this biggest industrial park in the country. Magnit Director General Sergei Galitsky showed Mr. Kondratiev the main plants and laboratories and recounted him of the new production facility.
“It is a full-cycle production site — from storage of straw to produce compost to packaging of the finished products to deliveries to the retail chain,” stated Mr. Galitsky. “The facility allows us to produce a competitive product, independent from dollar exchange rate, and fulfils a social function of opening of new jobs.”
