He was quoted as saying this last week at a plenary session of the Federation Council devoted to Russian regions. In his speech, Mr. Tkhakushinov noted fruitful interaction between the Federation Council and Republican authorities, and expressed hope for further cooperation and aid.
Adyghea is known to need the federal centre’s aid to accomplish the project on the construction of the reound-the-year recreation complex Lagonaki, introduction of original railway tourist routes, financing of the construction of the water main, etc.
“I want to thank you for your constructive position and active involvement in the work of the Federation Council’s corresponding committees on the most urgent issues we have put forward,” said Mr. Tkhakushinov. “I am confident that such a substantial support will help our region achieve a new level of advancement.”
