Krasnodar, 11 July – Yug Times. In Krasnodar, 58 social infrastructure projects are currently under construction.
These include 19 schools with a combined capacity of 25,375 students, 36 kindergartens for 10,225 children, and three sports and fitness centres. “We will not ease the pace of large scale construction until we are confident that every child is provided for in accordance with standards—whether in kindergartens, schools or sports facilities,” emphasised Krasnodar May or Yevgeni Naumov. “There are just two months left before the start of the academic year, and the time will fly by quickly. That is why it is vital we synchronise our efforts and objectively assess the progress of each project. Falling behind schedule is not an option.”
Many of the sites are already nearing completion. These include schools for 1,550 students each on Obry vnaya Street and Professor Maligo nov Street, a 250-place kindergarten on 2nd Yamalskaya Street, and two kindergartens with a capacity of 380 each in the Dykhaniye residential complex.
According to Aleksandr Madovsky, Director of the City Construction Department, five schools and two educational centres with a total of 8,425 places will open on 1 September. Five of these facilities are being built under the national “Education” project.
