Krasnodar, 1 July – Yug Times. Currently, the city’s Bailiff Service is overseeing 704 enforcement proceedings concerning the demolition of illegally constructed properties. In total, 105 such structures were removed across Sochi in 2024. The top priorities remain the demolition of commercial premises, unfinished and derelict buildings. The Sochi City Administration has signed an assignment agreement and carried out demolitions on Yegor ov Street and Tikhy Lane. Demolition projects have also been developed for three more properties in the Khosta district — on Koshevoi and Izmailovskaya Streets. Further demolition plans are in progress for unauthorised structures in Matsesta and on Krymskaya Street.
“A necessary stage will be to conduct a state expert assessment of these buildings. At present, this process is underway for 13 problematic residential properties. Where there is a legal basis to challenge a case in court, we will help residents prepare the required documents,” said Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin, as quoted by the Mayor’s Office’s press office.
