Krasnodar, 7 February – Yug Times. In 2025, Sochi will allocate over 174 million roubles from the local budget to repair the city's roads. This figure was announced during an extended planning meeting in the resort city's administration, where the action plan for the road sector for the current year was discussed.
Sochi Mayor, Andrei Proshunin, reported that this year, 59 sections of the street and road network will be repaired at the expense of the local budget. He added that the streets were put on the repair list at the request of local residents. One of such works will be carried out on Verinskaya Street, an alternative motorway that provides transport accessibility for residents of Verkhnenikolaevskoe village.
For 2025, it is planned to repair sections of the street and road network with a total area of 31,300 square metres. Road patching will be performed in 12 streets. In addition, 33 road facilities in various districts of the city will be repaired following deputy inquiries. The plan of measures also includes renewal of the roadbed in seven passages between city blocks.
