Firstly, there is an opportunity to save money, because the new harvest is gathered and an acceptable price for fruits and vegetables is set. Secondly, the last summer month is not so exhaustingly hot, as June and July, and there is still a great opportunity to hold the ceremony outdoors. In Kuban, the wedding fashion combines new trends and local traditions. Kuban residents actively marry from June to September, the regional statistics agency Krasnodarstat states.
Besides, a study of the delivery service from shops and restaurants "Cooper" and online research company "OnIn" showed that Krasnodar residents prefer to celebrate the creation of a new family for one to two days.
One of the important elements of preparation for the wedding ceremony is the choice of the bride's dress. According to experts, outfits made of such fabrics as mikado and satin are extremely relevant today. The trend is for voluminous flowers, mini dresses and unusual silhouettes.
"Nowadays brides began to choose dresses for themselves rather than to please all their guests. It is, of course, heartening to see," says Alina Golovina, owner of the Mary Truffle wedding salon. "The dress and the bride are one and the same. The outfit embodies the disposition of the newlywed and her peculiarities. The classic milky colour remains relevant. This season, brides are especially reverent about the choice of the veil. Now the fashion is back for veils made of organza, with lace and elements of 3D-colours. It looks very spectacular in the photo and completes the image of the bride."
According to a recent study by Cooper and OnIn, every second couple in Krasnodar holds wedding celebrations in the format of painting and dinner. In addition to marriage registration, 35% organised a banquet to which they invited a large number of guests. Only 15% of respondents tied themselves to the bonds of marriage without a festive meal.
"More and more often, the newlyweds make a choice between a restaurant and catering in favour of the latter," says Irina Dolgova, General Director of CateringBURO. "In recent years, the number of such weddings has increased significantly. It is noteworthy that in the southern regions wedding catering is more popular than in other places. This is due to the long warm period and interesting locations, which are numerous in the Krasnodar region."
Nevertheless, according to the survey, still a lot of Krasnodar residents - 48% - prefer a restaurant when choosing the venue for the wedding; 19% of survey participants celebrated the celebration at home; 16% in a banquet hall; 13% in a country house or hotel.
"Most often, requests to book halls are submitted from January to March," says Yulia Abu Shanab, Yasnaya Poliana Banquet Hall Manager. "This is due to the fact that most brides receive an offer for New Year and long weekends, St Valentine's Day, or 8 March. The most popular wedding days (Fridays and Saturdays) and beautiful dates (25.05.25, 25.03.25, 25.04.25, etc.) were booked almost a year in advance. There are few requests for the nearest dates - mostly by newlyweds who did not know that the booking of the hall should be planned in advance."
