Krasnodar, 18 June – Yug Times. Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Education of Russia, has reportedly held a working meeting at the Orlionok (Eaglet) All-Russian Children's Centre. One of the topics of the meeting was the situation in the region's education sector, including the construction and repair of schools, kindergartens, colleges and technical schools. 

The federal minister emphasised that the Krasnodar region is on schedule with the construction of new schools and overhaul of educational establishments. In addition, one of 12 'flagship' schools will be built in the region. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted that the region uses all opportunities for construction and major repairs of educational institutions. 

" "From 1995 to 2015, only 11 schools were built in the region. Today we are trying to deal with the shortage of places. Since 2021, 40 schools and 43 kindergartens have been built in the region, and 272 schools and kindergartens have been overhauled. This year we plan to complete the construction of 17 schools and 43 kindergartens, and renovate 121 schools and kindergartens. We will continue this work in 2025-2026. Within the framework of regional programmes we plan to build 21 schools and 16 kindergartens, and thoruoghly repair 67 schools," said Veniamin Kondratiev.
