Krasnodar, 7 May – Yug Times. The pedestrian underpass in Krasnykh Partizan Street in Krasnodar will be constructed by another contractor. The contract with the new contractor has already been signed.
The work will be carried out by StroiYugRegion LLC. It is planned that the construction of the facility will resume in May. The underpass will be equipped with lifts for physically challenged people. It will be 4 metres wide and 35 metres long. According to the agreement, the work should be completed by the end of September.
"Initially, we got a bad contractor, so now we are at law with them to return the advance payment.t. It took us a long time to get all the costs approved, but fortunately we are over the himp with it. I hope that by the end of September this year the long-awaited underpass with all infrastructure will be completed," Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Naumov was quoted by the press service of Krasnodar City Hall.
The city authorities cancelled the contract with the previous contractor. The reason was violations of the terms of construction. During inspection, it turned out that the contractor had failed to catch up with the schedule and had not increased the number of workers employed at the construction site.
