General Plan to Be Adopted by New Year

Krasnodar, 19 December – Yug Times. The federal competent authorities have reportedly approved Sochi's draft general plan. 

The conciliation commission set up by Sochi Mayor’s Offi ce to settle the comments on the draft master plan has completed work. 

The commission included executives of the project developer and Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In the course of its work, the draft plan was amended to take into account comments coming from the federal agencies. 

“The commission carefully considered all comments and made the necessary adjustments together with the designers. This work made it possible to coordinate the draft master plan with Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Transport and Federal Security Service. The coordination work with the federal and regional agencies has been completed,” Oleg Burlev, Deputy Mayor of Sochi, noted. The project of the main town-planning document will soon be sent to the Sochi City Assembly for consideration. It is expected that the plan will be adopted at the City Assembly’s session by the end of 2023.
