Krasnodar, 28 November – Yug Times. More than 50 sports facilities are reportedly being built or reconstructed in municipalities of the Krasnodar region.
“Of these, six martial arts centres and a number of sports complexes have already been put into operation. By the end of the year, we will commission another 18 facilities, including nine martial arts centres, four low-budget sports complexes, three school gyms, and a swimming pool and a trampoline complex. We are also repairing 13 municipal sports facilities. In 2024, all municipalities should have [their own] martial arts centres,” said Vice Governor Aleksandr Vlasov.
So far, there have been a number of shortcomings in the performance of work at the facilities in the Novokubansk, Apsheronsk, Uspensky, Tuapse districts and Goriachy Kluch city. In total, the governmental auditors reviewed the current situation in more than 20 municipalities. As a result, the vice-governors instructed municipal heads and deputy heads to take the control over the construction and design of new sports facilities.
