Krasnodar, 3 October – Yug Times. Large-scale works on construction and reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities in the cities of the Krasnodar region will reportedly start in the fourth quarter of this year.
The news was announced at a meeting hosted last week by Russian Ministry of Construction and chaired by Minister Irek Faizullin. What were at issue were the works on seventeen facilities in Sochi, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Novorossiysk and Tuapse district. The meeting reviewed the current status of the works and technical solutions for each facility. The work on all 17 sewage treatment facilities is currently at a design stage. The participants of the meeting reviewed the terms of designing and passing the expert examination. Irek Faizullin emphasised on the need to organise a systematic joint work of the region, designers, contractors and expert authorities to prevent delays and maintain the high quality of the works.
In particular, in Sochi seven projects related to wastewater treatment facilities are being implemented under the regional programme for upgrading wastewater treatment facilities until 2025.
