Krasnodar, 26 July – Yug Times. The factors that are slowing down the programme for provision of gas supply were reportedly discussed in the Kuban region last week.

In 2023, natural gas pipelines were laid to the boundaries of more than 31,000 households, with 18,000 more to be connected to the main by the end of the year. Most of the work will be done by Gazprom’s local branch. “We continue to cooperate with a number of independent gas distribution organisations operating in the Krasnodar region, and with the regional authorities to further accelerate the pace of gas supply programme in the region.

In addition, we pay special attention to laying gas pipelines to social facilities,” said Sergei Gustov, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz. In the Krasnodar region, the implementation of the state programme “Development of Fuel and Energy Complex” is closely linked to the construction of gas pipelines of different pressure levels. Fifty-two facilities have been scheduled for the year 2023, with over a billion roubles allocated from the regional budget for this purpose.

Governor Veniamin Kondratiev emphasised that this will help accelerate the pace of laying gas pipelines to the remote areas.
