Krasnodar, 18 July – Yug Times. Over 7,000 young men have been drafted in the Krasnodar region.
Last week, Vice-Governor Aleksandr Vlasov spoke about the results of the spring conscription campaign.
“According to the results of the spring conscription campaign, more than 7,000 young men from the Krasnodar Region, including almost 300 Cossacks of the Kuban Cossack Host, were drafted into the Russian Armed Forces, which fully accomplished the task set by the Headquarters of the Southern Military District,” said Aleksandr Vlasov.
The biggest number of conscripts will serve in the Southern Military District, as well as in the Strategic Rocket Forces, Air and Space Forces, and Airborne Forces. In the Krasnodar region, the campaign was launched on 1 April. During the preparation at the regional level, meetings and tutorial sessions were held with the involvement of heads of municipal recruitment commissions, military commissioners, medical staff, and heads of departments for preparation and conscription of citizens for military service.
