Krasnodar, 5 July – Yug Times. The growth of basic industries in the Krasnodar Region has reportedly averaged to 102.1%.
A meeting devoted to the region’s socioeconomic development was held in Krasnodar last week. The event was attended by Member of the Federation Council’s Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management Aleksei Kondratenko, First Vice-Governor Igor Galas, and Deputy Governors of Krasnodar Krai.
“In January, we made cautious forecasts – we planned to achieve the gross regional product’s figure of at least 101% by the end of the year. Since the beginning of the year, the GRP has been growing faster, showing 103% compared to the same period of 2022. All sectors of the economy are showing growth. The industrial production makes 111.8%, the agricultural production – 104.5%; and the construction – 109%. Despite the closed airports, over 6 million people have already visited our resorts. Since the beginning of the year, investors have invested 122 billion roubles in the region – by 5.5% more than in the same period of 2022.
