Krasnodar, 17 May. Over 2,200 residents of Krasnodar Krai have reportedly received compensation for laying gas pipeline to their households. This welfare program has been working since June 2022.
“Krasnodar Krai is the nation’s third top region by the number of gasified households, following Moscow Oblast and Bashkortostan. In order to support socially vulnerable citizens, they may apply for the compensation of the expenses paid to lay the pipeline within their households,” commented Vice Governor Andrei Proshunin. “For this purpose, over 188 million roubles have been assigned from the regional budget. Now, due to the yearly indexation, the compensation amounts to 105,000 roubles.”
The authorities developed and approved new rules, and now the money go directly to the gas distributor’s account. The previous rules had stated that the customers had to pay for the pipeline and gas connection, and then their expenses would be partially reimbursed.
