Krasnodar, 28 April – Yug Times. The number of car credits issued last March in Russia grew by 18%. According to the National Bureau of Credit Histories, 2,800 car credits were issued in Krasnodar Krai in March, which was by 23.1% more than in February (2,300 credits). By the number of issued car credits, Krasnoda Krai became the nation’s fifth top region, after Moscow City (4,100 credits), Moscow Oblast (3,600), St. Petersburg (3,200), and Tatarstan (about 3,000 credits).

“Following some ‘slow burn’ at the end of last year, the car credit market reactivated at the beginning of 2023, and in March it grew up to the level of early 2022,” NBCH Marketing Director Aleksei Volkov noted. “The growing number of car credits issued in March can be explained by the resumption of the soft car crediting government programme, and the increased number of credits issued to buy second-hand cars.”

The number of credits grew nearly in all regions, but the highest growth was recorded in Vologda Oblast (+32.2%).
