Krasnodar, 11 August. The Krasnodar region was named the seventh top place in the list of Russian regions on introduction of the Regional Export Standard 2.0. The Omsk, Altai regions and the Republic of Bashkortostan headed the list compiled by the Russian Export Centre according to the results of the first six months of the year, followed by the Republic of Khakassia, and the Kaliningrad and Ryazan regions.
The introduction of the Regional Export Standard means a broad spectrum of activities, including training of managerial teams, elaboration of the local export development program, and creation of support and promotion mechanisms abroad for regional companies’ products.The results are showing what regions have introduced the biggest number of support tools for local exporters, but also what regions should become more active in creating the conditions for exports development and business support under the current conditions.
