Krasnodar, 3 August. Ten investors have reportedly signed agreements on the construction of electric car charging stations. Charging stations will appear in Anapa, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Tuapse, M-4 Don Highway, and a number of regional motorways by the end of this year.“We have developed and approved the layout schemes, allocated the land plots, and prepared all regulating documents,” Vice Governor Aleksandr Trembitsky explained. “Now it is the investors’ turn to affect the progress of the works.” As a result, by the end of the year, 85 new electric car charging stations will be working in the Krasnodar region.
At present, the companies are working on the utility connection documents and waiting for supplies of the required domestically made equipment. Krasnodar krai is part of the country’s pilot regions where the first phase of the electro-charging infrastructure development concept is being fulfilled. The regional administration’s press office released that the region will receive 234.6 million roubles from the federal budget for this purpose
