Krasnodar, 13 April. Today Marat Kumpilov, Head of the Adygeya Republic, got acquainted with the progress of the site improvement works on the territory of the Maikop City park.
Grand-scale reconstruction implies the works on the lower layer of the park, walking zone and playing area, and bank protection. It is also planned to install new street lamps, landscape alleys and flowerbeds, create new hardscapes and quay stairs.
New walking paths, bikeways, climbing walls, shades, “smart” benches, and apple-shaped installations (symbols of the city) will also appear in the park. Environment-friendly and impact-adsorbent materials meeting all safety requirements will be used for construction playgrounds. Besides, the beach zone will be totally renovated, and sanitary zone designated.
According to the acting head of the State cadastral registration office Aslan Khadzhimov, the total length of the embankment is 2.56 km, and its height is from 2.5 m to 8 m. Around 405 million rubles were allocated for the project realizations, 50% of which has already been disbursed.
