Gas Pipelines to Overcome Challenging Terrain

Krasnodar, 26 January. The construction of new natural gas pipelines will reportedly begin in Tuapse Rayon this year. 

The new facilities will supply gas to 2,500 flats and detached houses. 

By the end of 2023, a low-pressure gas main will be laid in the city of Tuapse along Novitsky Street. It will provide gas to about 700 flats and 798 detached houses located in thirty streets and bystreets. Besides, gas pipelines will be laid to the blocks of flats located at five other streets of the city. 

Low-pressure gas grids will be laid to over a thousand households in Novomikhailovsky. The money for this project has already been assigned from the regional budget under the program “Development of the fuel and energy complex.” 

In addition, gas pipeline projects will be developed this year for Dzhubga, Shepsi and Tenginka. 

The regional authorities are paying special attention to gas supply in Tuapse Rayon distinguished by difficult terrain, with the current gas penetration rate of 29% only.
