Krasnodar, 5 January. Over 10 billion roubles were reportedly paid to Kuban families with children in 2021, of which 97,800 families received monthly welfare payments, and 5,500 families disposed of the maternal capital.

The regional Ministry for Labour and Social Development reported on the results of the implementation of the regional project “Financial support of families at birth of a child” of the national project “Demography.” Last year, 63,800 families whose revenue did not exceed the double level of the subsistence minimum received monthly 11,114 roubles as the welfare payment due to the birth (adoption) of the first child. The total amount paid for this purpose was 6.3 billion roubles. A monthly payment due to the birth of the third or further child to the amount of 11,1114 roubles was assigned to 33,900 families – their total amount was 3.6 billion roubles, and the families with the income below the 1.5-times amount of the subsistence minimum can enjoy this benefit until the age of three.

At the session of the Legislative Assembly held in December 2021, this support measure was prolonged until 2024.
