New Road to Sea

Krasnodar, 30 December. A motor road has reportedly been reconstructed in Timashevsk rayon. The road workers have upgraded 11 km. 

The large-scale reconstruction of the Krasnodar – Yeisk motor road became possible owing to the national project, “Safe and high-quality roads.” So far, the first stage of the works has been completed. 

According to Vice Governor Aleksandr Trembitsky, the existing road was broadened to four lanes. A new traffic interchange and rest facilities were built there. Besides, now the road has up-to-date lighting and two weight-checking points. This road is meant to make the journey to the Black Sea resorts and the Crimean Bridge shorter.

 In the newar future, the attention will be paid to another 12-km-long road sector in Dinskoi rayon. Currently, the project is being finalized. The overall upgrading of the motor road is to be completed in 2023. 

Following the reconstruction, the both sectors will have 22 km of a new four-lane highway with multilevel interchanges, convenient parking and rest points, and busstops.
