Krasnodar, 11 November. Fines for the total amount of over 1.7 million roubles have reportedly been issued in the Krasnodar region for violations of COVID-19 restraints since the beginning of the year. 

The figure was announced at the meeting held in Krasnodar last week. Speaking at the meeting, Vice Governor Aleksandr Ruppel made it clear that audits of compliance with epidemiologic constraints are being held on ongoing basis. 

According to the Head of the Department for Consumer Sphere and Regulation of Alcohol Market Roman Kurinny, 191 administrative cases were initiated in the region since the beginning of the year under Article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code; the courts have already considered more than 60 such cases. 

Since October 30, QR-codes must be shown to visit public catering facilities in Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Goriachy Kluch, Yeisk and Tuapse. Mr. Kurinny reported that over 3,500 facilities were audited since then, 11 administrative cases were initiated and three administrative offence protocols were executed in the resort areas. 

On November 6, QR-codes became compulsory for public catering facilities in all municipalities of the region.
