Krasnodar, 21 September. About 72,000 people have fallen ill with coronavirus in the Krasnodar Territory since the start of the pandemic, including more than 4,600 children.
The Krasnodar Territory Health Ministry said more than 51,000 patients have been discharged with recovery and about 6,000 have died.
On Monday, the leader in daily morbidity has been Sochi, where 68 new cases were identified against, for example, just nineteen in Krasnodar. According to the press service of the resort city mayor’s office, a centralized preventive vaccination against coronavirus infection has been organized in Sochi.
There are now 33 vaccination centers in Sochi, three of which are mobile units and four are located in hotels. Almost 174 thousand Sochi residents have already been vaccinated with both components of the vaccine.
At the beginning of the school year, vaccination centers began to open in some universities in the Krasnodar Territory, although vaccination is not mandatory for students. There are already vaccination centers in Kuban State University, Kuban Technical University, Kuban Agrarian University, Sochi State University and Admiral F. Ushakov State Maritime University.
As of today, 22,800 students have been vaccinated directly at universities in the Krasnodar Territory.
