Krasnodar, 6 July. During the regular session of the Legislative Assembly, the regional deputies adopted changes to the local health care development program.
According to them, the regional budget will allocate 65.9 billion roubles for medicine (by 1.5 billion more than it had originally been scheduled).
The additional money will be spent to perform complete overhauls of medical institutions, purchase medicines for patients and medical equipment for hospitals, purchase fixed equipment for the Regional Children’s Hospital, propaganda of healthy way of life, and advanced professional education of the medical staff, the parliamentary press service announced.
The deputies also approved changed to the Regional program of governmental warranties of free medical aid in Krasnodar krai for 2021– 2023. In particular, the program now includes post-COVID rehabilitation: starting from July 1, patients that recovered from coronavirus infection will be eligible for in-depth checkups. The new measures will provide for prompt and efficient rendering of medical aid.
