Krasnodar, 28 January. The epidemiological situation remains unfavourable in Krasnodar region.
Last weekend, the regional Ministry of Health Care recorded 391 new cases of coronavirus disease. Thirty-nine patients died in COVID-19 hospitals. On Monday, 198 new cases were registered.
Last week, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reviewed the progress of the vaccination campaign with Vice Governor Anna Minkova, Head of the regional branch of the Consumer Rights Protection Agency Maria Potemkina, and regional Minister of Health Care Yevgeni Filippov.
The campaign was launched in December 2020. Now there are 100 vaccination centres working in the region – 97 on the basis of medical establishments, and three mobile points in Krasnodar.
Most of the vaccinated patients were healthcare workers. The others were persons aged 60+, education and public service workers, and patients with chronic diseases.
According to the latest data, about 6,000 patients have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
