Krasnodar, 1 January. 16+ The Russian youth have reportedly obtained a chance to present their ideas of tourist business development. The ongoing national student competition “By developing tourism, we are developing Russia!” is aimed at qualitative change of the domestic hospitality industry. The ideas of the winners of the contest will be submitted to the Federal Tourism Agency for consideration and possible implementation within the context of a new national project. The laureates of the contest together with their scientific advisors will be awarded with diplomas and invited to contribute to the development of tourist activities in Russia.
“By inviting students and their creative potential, we will be able to see the most promising ideas,” Khristofor Konstantinidi, the scientific coordinator of the contest, stated.
The implementation of the national tourist project is expected to ensure that the main factors will double by 2030, including domestic travels, the number of jobs in the tourism industry, and its contribution to the gross domestic product.
