Krasnodar, 29 December. In 2020, Krasnodar krai has reportedly surpassed its exports plans.
The yearly exports have reached USD 2.7 billion, versus the initial plan of USD 2.5 billion.
“Despite the difficult weather conditions and the epidemiological situation, we successfully managed to supply products to our fellow citizens and abroad. The export plan for cereals was surpassed by more than USD 100 million, and for fat-and-oil products by USD 103.5 million. The exports of meat and milk products nearly doubled the initial plan,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reported. He also noted that regional exporters had received lax credits for the total of three billion roubles which will help them buy raw materials, install new production lines and settle other current issues.
Presently the Kuban region exports to 130 countries throughout the world. The task is to pass the bar of USD 3.8 billion a year with agricultural products only by 2024.
