Buffer Zones for COVID-19

Krasnodar, 1 December. The epidemiological situation in Krasnodar krai remains tense. 

Despite recurring falls, the sickness and mortality rates are demonstrating an overall upward trend. 

Say, last Saturday 178 new cases were recorded; eight patients died. 

On Sunday, the figures were 166 and six, respectively. To improve the quality of medical aid, the third round-the-clock outpatient site opened in Krasnodar on the basis of the Outpatient Hospital No. 25. It provides comprehensive examination and issues appointment cards to see a doctor for patients with signs of the new coronavirus infection. The outpatient hospital continues to function in a regular mode, with a separate entrance assigned for suspected COVID-19 patients. 

Earlier, suchlike centres opened on the basis of the outpatient hospitals Nos. 7 and 15. The centres are divided into the admission, waiting, and diagnostic wards. The patients with suspected coronavirus may apply to the centres on their own or by their doctor’s appointment.
